This is an accidental project: it just started with the intention of gathering recipes I thought could be nice for festivals, but it ended up becoming “a thing“- blame it on perfectionism.
So I made it into a “book” (read: a pretty PDF), featuring 25 Athenian festivals and one or two recipes for each of them. They are organized by chronological order, starting in winter. Each festival is shortly described, and my reasoning for the choice of the recipe explained. There is also an introduction that explains notions I do not explain later on. For this reason I do not advise skipping this part.
Note that this is very much a work in progress and I might come back to it later and release a second edition. Also, it’s entirely free.
